A painting created by the #omie community, in a participatory exercise contributed to by over 1800 people as part of the 1000 Portraits by Rareș Helici project.
Each painting is signed by Rareș and comes with a blank canvas, which we invite you to return in 2022 with your own story, so that together we can create the largest exhibition of #omie.
"1800 identities are found within a single one, in an exercise of co-creation and compassion. This year we met in strokes of acrylic, placed on the same canvas. 1800 thoughts took on the colour of the #omie community. To me, rediscovery means healing. And we can only speak of healing when we look, and look at ourselves, together, within the same community. That's what we did, together.
